Simplify — User Agreement 1. Platform Purpose and Scope Simplify is a peer tutoring platform that connects students seeking academic help with tutors offering subject-matter expertise. The platform facilitates discovery, scheduling, and communication for tutoring sessions. Simplify is not a party to any agreement between students and tutors and does not employ tutors. Simplify is not a licensed tutoring service; it is a peer-to-peer coordination tool. 2. User Eligibility You must be either a current student or someone with sufficient subject knowledge and experience to help others learn. You must be at least 13 years old to use Simplify. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete. 3. Acceptable Use You agree not to: - Harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against any user. - Share personal contact details (phone numbers, personal email addresses, social media handles) outside of confirmed sessions in order to bypass the platform. - Conduct commercial transactions (payments, tips, exchanges of value) between users outside of Simplify. - Post or transmit content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that infringes intellectual property rights. - Attempt to access, probe, or scan the platform or other users' accounts without authorization. 4. User Responsibilities - Keep the information on your profile accurate and up to date. - Behave respectfully toward every user at all times. - Attend confirmed sessions on time, or cancel in advance per the cancellation policy below. - Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account. 5. Tutor-Specific Rules Tutors must be honest about their qualifications, education, experience, and the subjects they can teach. Misrepresenting expertise is a serious violation. Tutors are expected to behave professionally, prepare adequately for sessions, and treat students with patience and respect. 6. Privacy and Data Usage Your data is stored securely and used only to operate and improve Simplify. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Cookies and similar technologies are used only to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. You may request to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting support; some records may be retained where required by law. 7. Sessions and Cancellation Policy Sessions must be cancelled at least two (2) hours before the scheduled start time. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in account restrictions. Both parties are expected to communicate promptly about changes. 8. Reviews and Ratings Reviews and ratings must be honest, based on direct experience, and free from manipulation, retaliation, or coordination. Fake, paid, or coerced reviews are prohibited and will be removed. 9. Consequences of Violations Violations of this Agreement may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban at Simplify's discretion. Severe violations (harassment, fraud, illegal activity) may lead to immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to authorities. 10. Disputes and Contact For questions, disputes, or to report a violation, contact support through the platform at simplify.support@gmail.com. Simplify will review reports in good faith and respond as quickly as reasonably possible. Disputes are resolved first through direct communication and, if unresolved, through the applicable consumer-protection and online-services laws of your jurisdiction. By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement.
